Salaried GP

The post holder will have a case load of varied health needs in a General Practice.

• Work within the agreed practice clinical rota with flexibility to undertake a variety of  duties depending on experience including face to face , telephone consultations, triage home visits including care homes. Checking and signing prescriptions, dealing with day today queries, paperwork and correspondence.
• Will make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems and health care requirements with undiagnosed problems.
• Will screen patients for disease risk factors and early onset of illness.
• Will Develop and produce care plans during consultations with patients within keeping of the practice disease management protocols.
• Progress appropriate referrals to other care providers when required.
• Ensure the recording of consultation notes to an agreed standard to support the practice audit requirements.
• Will support with hospital ward requirements as and when required.
• Will follow the practice protocol for management and issuing of electronic prescriptions.
• Will be expected to undertake all day to day responsibilities and duties associated with GPs working in primary care
